Billy Edwards Injury: Plans to enter portal

Edwards (knee) plans to enter the NCAA's transfer portal, Pete Thamel of ESPN reports.

In the midst of recovery from a long-term knee injury, Edwards will focus on changing colleges for his 2026 season. He transferred from Maryland to Wisconsin for 2025 but played in only a few games for a struggling Badgers team. The expectation is that Edwards medically redshirts his 2025 season to preserve a year of collegiate eligibility that he will look to take advantage of in 2026.
