Blake Shapen Injury: Was ultimately cleared to return

Shapen (undisclosed) was cleared to return for Mississippi State but would've been very limited, so the Bulldogs stuck with Kamario Taylor, per Sam Sklar of the Clarion Ledger.

Shapen was taken to the locker room after getting shaken up following a big hit against Georgia. Mississippi State turned to Kamario Taylor at quarterback in his absence, but Bulldogs' head coach Jeff Lebby said Shapen was officially cleared to return but would've been very limited, and so the staff decided against it. Thus, Shapen is a question mark ahead of Week 12 against Missouri.
