Byron Cardwell News: Joins Aztecs

Cardwell will transfer to San Diego State, he announced.

The tailback will head back to his hometown for his senior season. Cardwell spent two years at Oregon before playing for California in 2024, where he ran for 75 yards on 24 carries last fall. He'll look to become a staple of the Aztecs' backfield in 2025.
