Owen McCown News: Excellent passing during bowl

McCown was 18-for-28 passing for 295 yards and three touchdowns during Friday's 57-20 win versus Florida International. He also had seven rushes for 22 yards.

UTSA's last three games saw McCown log 10 touchdowns, an impressive run to end his junior season. Despite fewer passing yards in 2025 compared to 2024, he was more efficient, with his 67.5 completion percentage and 30-7 TD-INT ratio being better this year. With 24 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground, McCown surpassed 3,000 all-purpose yards and 30 TDs for the first time in his collegiate career.
