Currently, UTSA's team needs a primary option at quarterback now that Frank Harris has stepped away from football. McCown and Marburger shared snaps while Harris was out, so it is unsurprising that both QBs are competing against each other for Harris' vacant spot. McCown played a little more in 2023 and fared well with accuracy, as his 74.1 completion percentage on 58 passes suggests. While the quarterback was just short of 500 scrimmage yards, he was inconsistent, with his 4:3 TD:INT ratio in six games serving as proof.
