Preston Stone News: Excellent during bowl

Stone was 19-for-31 passing for 226 yards and three touchdowns during Friday's 34-7 victory versus Central Michigan.

For only the third time in 2025, Stone logged more than two touchdowns, positively ending his collegiate career. For the year, he transferred colleges from SMU and Northwestern, yielding mixed results as NU's leading man under center. Stone completed 222 of 370 pass attempts for 2,400 yards and a 17-12 TD-INT ratio, plentiful in quantity but still far from a 2023 season that Northwestern hoped he would replicate.
