2025 Fantasy Outlook
Stone transferred to Northwestern after getting usurped by Kevin Jennings at SMU last fall. It was a surprising turn of events, considering Stone was coming off an excellent 2023 season in which he threw for 3,197 yards, 28 touchdowns and six interceptions. He could be the best quarterback talent at Northwestern in some time, but the team has few returning players in the receiving corps and the Wildcats have been a run-first, defensive oriented system. Productive in victory
Stone was 20-for-31 passing for 262 yards and three touchdowns during Saturday's 42-7 victory over Louisiana-Monroe. He also had five rushes for 49 yards.
ANALYSIS
Stone put together a great day against UL-Monroe, throwing for a season-high 262 yards and three touchdowns while accounting for 49 yards on the ground as well. The 6-foot-1 quarterback built the insurmountable Northwestern lead by connecting with receivers Hayden Eligon, Griffin Wilde and Drew Wagner on passes of 37, 49 and six yards, respectively. Stone will hope to build off his season-best performance moving forward, though a tough matchup against a potentially desperate Penn State team will serve as his next challenge.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
In 2023, Stone replaced highly-productive two-year starter Tanner Mordecai and proceeded to put up excellent numbers in head coach Sonny Dykes' explosive offense. The gunslinger amassed 3,197 yards and 28 touchdowns to just six interceptions, adding on four scores on the ground for good measure. Entering his senior season, Stone could absolutely explode this fall. His top six pass-catchers all return, as do the top three halfbacks on the team. This is an offense loaded with talent and experience, and Stone is the engine that makes it run. Look for him to consistently post huge outings for what figures to be one of the best offenses in the ACC.
