Rueben Owens News: Rough outing in loss

Owens logged 13 carries for 48 yards and hauled in 3 of 4 targets for seven yards during Friday's 27-17 defeat to Texas.

The junior back recorded modest production, but the offensive line struggled and the run game overall was limited. Owens remains a short-yardage and workhorse back, but against stout defenses his upside may be capped, making him more useful during games that the Aggies can manage. He has totaled 112 carries for 618 yards and five touchdowns across 11 appearances.
