Ryan Wingo Injury: Wrist hurt, probable for season

Wingo (wrist) is expected to be 100 percent before the 2026 season, HornSports reports.

HornSports' update indicates that Wingo will re-enroll at Texas. After suffering a wrist injury during last season's Texas-Michigan bowl, he underwent offseason surgery for the problem. It is unknown when exactly Wingo will become 100 percent, though the re-assuring portion of his timetable is that his health should be there by UT's season opener. Ideally, Wingo's injury status can be cleared up before then, and there is still plenty of time for his wrist to recover.
