2022 Receiving Projections
2022 Fantasy Outlook
Smith has shown great potential since arriving at Texas A&M three years ago, and is prepared to shine once again in his senior year. Last season, Smith served as the team captain and led the Aggies with 47 receptions and six receiving touchdowns. He also ranked second in receiving yards behind tight end Jalen Wydermyer who has since left the team to pursue professional opportunities. It is clear that Smith is a very talented wideout, but he will be relying on his quarterbacks to pass the ball well, something Texas A&M struggled with in 2021. The team was the third-worst in the SEC in passing yards per game with 208.6, but Smith has proven that if the ball is passed on target then he can be a lethal offensive player. Read Past Outlooks

Returning to College Station
Smith (ankle) announced Thursday via his personal Twitter account that he'll return to Texas A&M for the 2023 season.
ANALYSIS
Rather than entering the 2023 NFL Draft or pursuing his options at another school during the upcoming fall, the 5-foot-10, 190-pound wideout will stick around in College Station for his fifth and final year of eligibility. Smith was limited to just four appearances in 2022 after suffering a season-ending fractured ankle in September and requiring surgery, but he should re-emerge as the No. 1 wideout for a rebuilt Texas A&M receiving corps during the upcoming season. Over his first four seasons with the Aggies, Smith has tallied 127 catches for 1,612 yards and 17 touchdowns while also carrying 67 times for 384 yards and four scores.
