2025 Fantasy Outlook
Hankerson was unable to unleash his talent on a full scale during his two seasons in Boulder in 2022 and 2023, but that changed considerably in his first season in Corvallis. He emerged as a true bellcow for the Beavers, amassing 232 carries for 1,082 yards and 15 touchdowns while adding 27 catches for 151 yards. Per the SP+ defensive ratings of their opponent of last year versus this season, Oregon State's schedule lightens a bit in 2025, though a Week 13 bye does leave a building block with a postseason bye week. Even so, Hankerson should more than make up for it with a hefty carry load during the regular season, and improvement on his 2024 numbers shouldn't be off the table. Another top-10 campaign could remain in the cards this year, and Hankerson should be viewed as having top-five upside if things fall right. Read Past Outlooks
Strong stretch ends
Hankerson was limited to only 46 yards on 19 carries as he ended a string of four games of 101 or more yards on the ground as the Beavers fell to Tulsa, 31-14, on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Hankerson was an afterthought as Oregon State was down from the start of the game including a 31-0 deficit. The Beavers do not play until Nov. 29 against Washington State. The Cougars defense is in the top 50 in the nation against the run. This will be the second game between the two schools. The senior running back had a great day against the Cougars in the first contest (10-7, Beavers win) with 132 rushing yards on 25 carries and a touchdown on Nov. 1.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Hankerson’s potential productivity is uncertain heading into fall camp despite landing atop the depth chart in the spring. Alex Fontenot is still with the team, and new coach Deion Sanders heaped praise on incoming Houston transfer Alton McCaskill, who will be back in action after a year of recovery from a torn ACL. Although Hankerson showed flashes of brilliance in Colorado’s anemic offense last season, he failed to break the 100-yard barrier and dealt with a lingering hamstring injury that hampered his progress. The sophomore may find himself part of a committee approach to begin the season.
