Alexander committed Sunday to USC, joining the program as a transfer from Georgia, Hayes Fawcett of On3.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Alexander was arguably the top defender in the portal after he was a key rotational defensive lineman for Georgia's national-championship-winning squad in 2022. The 6-foot-3, 305-pound tackle tallied nine tackles, two sacks and two pass breakups over 12 games last season, but he never played more than 28 snaps in any of his appearances in large part to Georgia's immense talent at the position, which included likely top-10 NFL draft pick Jalen Carter. With the move to USC, Alexander should carve out more playing time and emerge as a disruptive force. Alexander will have three years of eligibility to use.
