2025 Pass/Rush Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Klubnik's first couple of seasons in the college football ranks didn't lead to him blowing the doors off the competition, but boy did that change in 2024. He closed out the regular season throwing for 3,041 yards and a 29:5 TD:INT ratio, adding 92 carries for 437 yards and seven touchdowns as a rusher, leading the Tigers to the ACC Championship Game and a College Football Playoff berth. While it was an early exit for Clemson, Klubnik certainly wasn't the problem, throwing for a combined 598 yards and seven touchdowns in the two contests. He's back to close out his college career in 2025 and arguably has the best wideout room in the country at his disposal, featuring returnees Antonio Williams, TJ Moore and Bryant Wesco. Also gone is Phil Mafah, leading to some questions in the running back room, but he accounted for just a 6.2 percent target share. Also gone is Jake Briningstool, which will be a bit more difficult to replace, but the budding wideout room is more than capable of absorbing additional targets, and Olsen Patt-Henry appears set to assume starting duties at tight end. All signs point to another top-notch campaign for Klubnik in 2025, and he projects as the top quarterback off the board in most fantasy formats. Read Past Outlooks

Better against Troy
Klubnik was 18-for-24 passing for 196 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 27-16 win over Troy. He also had five rushes for negative four yards.
ANALYSIS
It took Clemson a little while to wake up against Troy, but once it did, Klubnik managed to put together a better stat-line than he did in the loss to LSU in Week 1. It wasn't the massive day you might expect for the Clemson offense against a significantly overmatched Troy defense, but Klubnik still completed 75 percent of his passes and tossed for two touchdowns. Up next is a clash with Georgia Tech that could be closer than some initially expect.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2022
Expectations and pressure alike are abound for Cade Klubnik as he enters his first season as the Tigers starting quarterback. The national power has had uneven quarterback play over the past few seasons, and the former top recruit is being asked to return it to elite levels. Perhaps it shouldn’t be surprising given limited 2022 chances, but Klubnik was uneven in his initial opportunities, shining against North Carolina in the ACC Championship game before limping a bit in the Orange Bowl against Tennessee. Klubnik’s arm talents aren’t a concern, and he offers capable mobility with his legs, giving fantasy managers a bit of a bump there too. The excitement comes from the addition of new offensive coordinator Garrett Riley, who turned TCU QB Max Duggan into a Heisman Finalist, and brings a far more dynamic scheme than former OC Brandon Streeter. Clemson however hasn’t had elite receivers of late either, and we know they’ll be able to run successfully. All in all, the opportunity and system are in place for a major breakout, even if it comes with some week to week inconsistency due to a possible lack of game-changing pass catchers.
