Rucker formed an impressive 1-2 punch with Courtney Jackson back in 2023, but he separated himself in a big way last season. Rucker snared 69 passes for 1,053 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games for the Red Wolves, while Jackson finished with fewer than 500 yards. Jackson has since graduated, leaving Rucker as the clear alpha for an offense that returns starting quarterback Jaylen Raynor. Rucker cleared 170 receiving yards in three games last season, but he also finished with less than 40 yards on five occasions. 2021 Fantasy Outlook
A 310-yard, four-touchdown performance in the season finale was more than enough to start the Rucker hype train for 2021. With target monster Jonathan Adams now in the NFL, Rucker is positioned to take over as the alpha in the Arkansas State offense, which has been a profitable position in fantasy for years. There was a head coaching change in Jonesboro but the OC remains in place, so the offense should have the same philosophy this season. Rucker, at 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, has the frame and the skill to take on a heavy target share and dominate Sun Belt competition.
