Kemp announced Nov. 29 via his personal Twitter account that he entered the transfer portal and is set to leave Memphis.

Kemp will have 3-to-4 years of eligibility remaining at his next school, depending on whether the NCAA grants him a hardship waiver after he missed time with an injury in 2022. After appearing in four games as a true freshman in 2021 and converting five of seven field-goal tries and seven of nine point-after attempts, Kemp didn't see any action this past season while Florida transfer Chris Howard took over as Memphis' starting placekicker.
