Huge day in starting debut
Knight was 15-for-20 passing for 239 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 62-17 victory over Mercer. He also had nine rushes for 162 yards with four touchdowns.
ANALYSIS
With rather awful play from the quarterback position through out the year, Auburn focused on giving their freshman phenom some reps leading into the season finale against Alabama. It looked as though Ashton Daniels was in position to start next week against the Crimson Tide but after a 400+ yard and six touchdown day, Knight may have forced his way into the starting role next week against the Crimson Tide.
