2023 Fantasy Outlook
For a few seasons, the Blue Raiders were looking for somebody to step in and be not just a true lead back, but provide anything on the ground. Finally, in his third season, Peasant was able to provide that. He ran the ball 182 times for 777 yards and nine touchdowns, while adding 28 catches for 286 yards and two scores. However, eight of those catches, 107 of those yards, and both of those touchdowns all came in one game against Florida Atlantic. Additionally, his only 100-yard rushing game came against Tennessee State, an FCS school, and he rushed for three touchdowns in that one as well. It was an up-and-down season, but Peasant is the top back for Middle Tennessee State, and he has shown what he can do in that role. If he maybe can get up to 200 touches on the ground, maybe this year he crosses the 800-yard mark and rushes for double-digit scores. Read Past Outlooks
