Jackson was the only Huskies pass-catcher to log more than four targets or three catches. The senior slot receiver still finished behind sophomore Denzel Boston for a team-high in receiving yards (47), though the team's passing game was very subdued. Starting quarterback Will Rogers was benched after throwing back-to-back interceptions to start the second half, marking the second game in a row that he was pulled early. Meanwhile, backup true freshman Demond Williams finished 7-of-8 passing for 67 yards while logging six carries for 31 yards. Should Williams start moving forward, then the Huskies may look to employ a rushing-centric offensive game plan while emphasizing the short passing game. The latter aspect could lead to an increased reliance on Jackson as he works out of the slot.
