Impresses in first start
Hesson completed 13 of 21 passes for 208 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 38-0 win versus Lindenwood.
ANALYSIS
Hesson got his first start of the season after hopping into last week's loss versus UNLV following an undisclosed injury to QB1 Daquan Finn. The backup quarterback was very solid in the blowout against the Lions, completing touchdowns in the second and third quarter. He also totaled 208 passing yards, improving on his 134 last week. It's unknown if Finn will be back next week, but Hesson should have no problem keeping the RedHawks competitive if he needs to fill in again at Northern Illinois.
