Blown out again Week 12
Card completed 11 of 20 passes for 151 yards during Saturday's 49-10 loss to Penn State.
ANALYSIS
Card was held without a touchdown for the second week in a row, marking the third time in the last four outings that he's been held scoreless. The senior signal-caller was pulled after the Boilermakers fell down 35-3 in the third quarter, leaving redshirt sophomore Ryan Browne to finish out the game. Card's best play of the game would have been a 47-yard touchdown to wideout Jahmal Edrine, but the play was overturned after it was ruled that Card had crossed the line of scrimmage. The Boilermakers' offense is dealing with a myriad of issues outside of their quarterback play, so he shouldn't be in major jeopardy of losing his starting job before this Friday's game at Michigan State.
