2022 Fantasy Outlook
The addition of Broussard is another huge transfer portal win for Michigan State head coach Tucker. The 2020 Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year will reunite with his former head coach from Colorado after seeing his production dip as a sophomore in 2021. Broussard averaged 5.7 yards and totaled five touchdowns on 156 rushes during six games as a freshman; but, the 5-foot-9 back carried the ball just 142 times over 11 games with the Buffaloes last season. It is likely that Michigan State will utilize a running-back-by-committee approach to make up for the loss of Doak Walker Award winner Kenneth Walker. Still, Broussard should see enough increased usage to border on 1,000 rushing yards once again. Read Past Outlooks

2021 Fantasy Outlook
No player who appeared in six or fewer games had more rushes last year than Broussard, who took 156 carries for 895 yards and five scores in the Buffs’ shortened season. His success is particularly impressive considering Colorado’s other running backs averaged 2.1 YPC over their 100 combined attempts. Broussard projects to have one of the nation’s highest workloads, and at 5.7 YPC, those numbers could pile up in a big way. The one knock on Broussard is his PPR upside (9 REC, 65 YDS) but his rushing production should be strong enough to carry his value even in those formats.
