Oklahoma's head coach Brent Venables said Wednesday that Gibson (leg) is both right on schedule and making tremendous progress, Colton Sulley of The Oklahoman reports.
ANALYSIS
Gibson did not play Week 2 because of his leg injury. Fortunately for the injured wideout, Venables is optimistic. "He (Gibson) is catching a bunch of balls every day, going through the appropriate rehab protocols," the head coach said. Though questionable for Oklahoma's next game, currently Sept. 13 at Temple, Gibson may be available during Week 3.
