Evans was 1-for-1 passing for one yard and one touchdown during Wednesday's 27-17 win versus Western Kentucky. He also had 10 rushes for 64 yards with one touchdown.

ANALYSIS
Evans served mainly as the ground threat under center for the Dukes, though he also threw a one-yard touchdown pass. He and Billy Atkins served in tandem during the bowl game, but Alonza Barnett enters the offseason as the clear favorite to maintain his starting gig in 2025.
