Jerrion Ealy

Ealy will vie with Snoop Conner for the starting running back job at Ole Miss now that Scottie Phillips has graduated. It will be interesting to see what the offense looks like under new head coach Lane Kiffin, as the running attack was featured prominently last year for the Rebels. Ealy rushed 104 times for 722 yards and six touchdowns on the ground, but the aforementioned Phillips received 125 carries, Conner had 81 totes and quarterback John Rhys Plumlee ran 154 times. In other words, it is extremely unlikely the Rebels will have a nearly 2:1 run-to-pass ratio in 2020. Still, with Phillips gone Ealy should still see more opportunities, and he did average a stout 6.9 yards per rush as a freshman.
