Gets hurt during spring practice
Undisclosed
May 2, 2023
Holles suffered what is believed to be a "significant injury" at some point during Colorado State's spring practices, Kevin Lytle of the Fort Collins Coloradoan reports.
ANALYSIS
Details on the matter are scarce at this time, but Holles' availability heading into Colorado State's Sept. 2 season opener versus Washington State is now in question. Though he posted modest numbers as a true freshman in 2022 -- he carried 10 times for 38 yards and caught two passes for three yards -- Holles was the Rams' only scholarship back available during the spring, as Avery Morrow was suspended indefinitely following a January arrest and incoming freshmen Damian Henderson and Justin Marshall won't join the program until the summer. The uncertain statuses of Holles and Morrow may have prompted the Rams to bring aboard another experienced back in Kobe Johnson, who committed to Colorado State on Tuesday following a prolific four-year career at FCS North Dakota State.
