Wilson completed 12 of 22 passes for 128 yards and two interceptions during Monday's 29-10 loss to Georgia Southern. He also had 12 rushes for 110 yards with one touchdown.

ANALYSIS
Wilson logged his first-ever game as Appalachian State's starting quarterback for the Birmingham Bowl. The quarterback's lone log suggests there is much improvement needed for his passing, but he showed significant promise with how he ran. According to his announcement Dec. 2, Wilson will shift gears to the NCAA's transfer portal for 2026, and he now has some in-game experience that can attract at least some suitors.
