2025 Fantasy Outlook
The 2024 season marked Navarro's first year as the starting quarterback for the Bobcats, and it ended with a MAC Conference championship and bowl game victory. Although he underwent a minor offseason shoulder procedure, he should be healthy for the season opener and is now heading into his fifth collegiate season with a full head of steam and infinite upside. The 6-foot quarterback's passing skills were nothing to brag about in the 2024 campaign (2,423 yards, 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions), but his rushing upside is what made him a weapon for Ohio. He rushed for a whopping 1,054 yards with 18 rushing touchdowns. This put him at number one in rushing touchdowns in the MAC conference and fourth in rushing yards; he was the only quarterback in the top five of the conference in either category. Not many quarterbacks in any conference can say the same, so Navarro will enter what will likely be his last year as a valuable fantasy asset. Read Past Outlooks

Held in check vs. Cardinals
Navarro completed 16 of 29 passes for 188 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 20-14 defeat to Ball State. He also had 13 rushes for 77 yards.
ANALYSIS
Navarro didn't have an awful game against the Cardinals, but he didn't do enough to get the Bobcats the win. The starting quarterback logged his second-worst passing yard total of the season, and he couldn't find the end zone even with 13 rushes. He'll look to bounce back against Northern Illinois after Ohio's bye week.
