Liss announced Saturday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Arizona State, joining the program as a transfer from Colorado State.

Liss is expected to challenge California transfer Dario Longhetto for placekicking duties with the Sun Devils in 2023 after both of Arizona State's top options from 2022 in Carter Brown (Cincinnati) and Jace Feely (Colorado) left for other programs. As a true freshman at Colorado State in 2020, Liss converted four of seven field-goal tries and 11 of 11 extra-point attempts, but he hasn't attempted any kicks in the two seasons since.
