Griffin was solid with his 10 carries in the blowout loss for the Minutemen and could've done more, but the squad was playing catchup and passing mostly the whole game. The 5-foot-9 running back was named UMass' starter ahead of kickoff, and he punched in a touchdown in the first quarter. He should be utilized more in what will hopefully be a closer game versus Bryant next week.
