Between Isaiah Likely and Jaivon Heiligh, the Chants are tasked with replacing 56 percent of their targets from 2021. Luckily, Pinckney can help fill the void as he comes over as a transfer from Georgia State, where he caught 105 passes and 13 touchdowns over the last three years. He’s a big target (6-foot-4) and fits well in an offense that is low-volume but explosive as it ranked third in YPA as a team last year while registering 33 passing scores. It’s a run-first scheme but the passing game is narrowly channeled to a select few and Pinckney should lock in a major role.
