2025 Fantasy Outlook
Bangura will return to Ohio for his fifth college season after taking a one-year hiatus in the 2024 campaign with Minnesota. The 6-foot running back logged just four carries for 12 yards last season with the Gophers, which was likely much less than he hoped for after a dominant tenure before the transfer. Across the 2022 and 2023 seasons in Ohio, the redshirt senior logged 400 carries for 1,889 yards and 20 touchdowns, adding 45 receptions for 385 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Given the limited returning production behind Bangura on the depth chart, he should be set to serve as a workhorse again in 2025, though that assumes health isn't a concern after missing some time in spring due to injury. 67 yards in close loss
Bangura tallied 15 carries for 67 yards during Saturday's 20-14 loss versus Ball State.
ANALYSIS
Bangura was utilized at a high level similar to the recent weeks, but he didn't do as much with his 15 carries. The starting running back has luckily logged 15 or more rushing attempts in Ohio's last three games, showing that he's carved out a sizable role in the team's offense. He'll look to do more with his high volume against Northern Illinois after the Bobcats' bye week.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Bangura came from relative obscurity in terms of previous production to turn in one of the better fantasy seasons at the running back position last year. In addition to serving as the team's workhorse on the ground, logging 222 carries for 1,078 yards and 13 touchdowns, he was a frequent contributor in the passing game as well, drawing 43 targets and turning them into 27 catches for 226 yards and a pair of scores. With the majority of the team's offense intact from last season, Bangura should be positioned for another sizable output in 2023.
