ANALYSIS
Merriweather spent his last two seasons at Notre Dame and received six starts in 12 games during 2023. He did not show much consistency and only had one game with more than two catches. Still, Merriweather was a highly-touted recruit out of high school and received a handful of offers from other big-time programs, such as Michigan, USC, Oregon and Washington. He will seek a bigger role in Berkeley with two more years of eligibility remaining.
