Johnson announced Wednesday that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at Michigan to enter the 2025 NFL Draft, Jordan Reid of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Johnson missed the Wolverines' final five games of the regular season due to a toe issue, but the injury isn't anything that's expected to prevent him from being one of the top cornerbacks selected during the upcoming draft. He'll presumably sit out Michigan's Dec. 31 ReliaQuest Bowl matchup with Alabama while he turns his focus to the NFL. Johnson finished up his junior season with 14 tackles, three pass breakups and two interceptions over six games.
