Returns to practice
Wright (leg) has returned to practice and is taking contact, 247 Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
The West Virginia transfer missed the entirety of the 2022 season after being involved in a car accident in March that resulted in a significant leg injury. Wright, however, has now recovered and is back to participating in padded practice. He may not be at 100 percent just yet given the time off due to rehab, but Wright appears to be trending towards having a role this fall, especially if Mycah Pittman is sidelined in the early going.

2021 Fantasy Outlook
Wright projects to be the top receiver for the Mountaineers after corralling 47 catches for 553 yards and two touchdowns on 68 targets in the 2020 season. With Jarret Doege returning at quarterback, there's a good chance Wright can top that production as West Virginia attempts to build on their 6-4 record from a year ago. As a team, they weren't too bad through the air in 2020 with 277.5 passing yards per game which ranked 28th in the nation. Wright is part of an experienced receiving corps which also includes Bryce Ford-Wheaton, T.J. Simmons and Sam James. Wright provides the most explosive talent in that group.
