abE: Released from Splyce
abE has been released by Splyce on Friday, Daniel Rosen of theScore reports.
ANALYSIS
While abE was a part of the Splyce roster that managed to place in the Top 4 of the MLG Columbus Major Offline Qualifier, thus guaranteeing themselves a spot in the Major, they only managed to place 13th-16th place, losing both matches in group play. As a result, Splyce admitted in their press release that they hit a "glass ceiling" with their current roster, and would need to make more changes in order for the team to reach the "next tier of success in CS:GO". abE wasn't the only player released from Splyce on Friday -- joining him in the free agency pool will be Professor_Chaos, who also competed on the aforementioned Major roster.
