Funn1k: Wins 2-0 over Rebels in the Manila Major European Qualifer
Dota2Team Spirit
May 5, 2016
Funn1k played an excellent Game One and a solid Game Two in Team Spirit's 2-0 win over Rebels in the Manila Major European Qualifier. Funn1k finished the series with an overall KDA of 13/6/27.
ANALYSIS
In Game One Funn1k played Mirana in the Radiant top off lane. Funn1k purchased an Aghanim's Scepter as his first major item, allowing him to accelerate his gold and experience gain. The passive Starfall every eight seconds also contributed a large amount of burst damage. Funn1k purchased an Ethereal Blade to augment his and his team's magical damage, allowing them to instantly bring down Vanskor's Io. Funn1k dealt 11,800 damage to Rebels, finishing Game One with a 7/2/13 KDA and a win. In Game Two Funn1k played Doom in the Radiant top off lane. Funn1k played a good game, using his Doom to keep Juggernaut or Tinker out of fights and being a difficult force to bring down in fights. Funn1k did well in his lane, and was able to secure a nice early advantage with the rest of his team. With this lead, Funn1k was able to put himself on the front line of fights. His Blade Mail purchase turned Tmw's Tinker's massive area of effect damage back against him, reflecting damage from March of the Machines and Heat-Seeking Missile. Funn1k dealt 9,600 damage to Rebels, finishing Game Two with a 6/4/14 KDA.
