Strange Uther choices
k1pro opted for some strange hero picks in a 3-2 victory over Lag Force during the 2017 HGC Group Stage Phase 2.
ANALYSIS
k1pro went ham right off the bat in Game 1 on Dragon Shire. Opting for an Uther pick, k1pro tried to play the sustain game of two warriors and two supports, but the sheer burst of the triple assassin comp that Lag Force ran was far too strong for him to heal through, especially with his hybrid damage build. While k1pro did play fairly well throughout the match, always being at a disadvantage made it very hard for him to shine and ultimately led to a fairly disappointing loss. Game 3 saw k1pro on Tassadar while playing Towers of Doom. This support hero was the perfect pick for his team comp which featured two auto attack heroes in Valla and Illidan. k1pro was able to give a massive amount of healing to his teammates through his life leeching plasma shields. The biggest reason why the Tassadar pick got so much value though was due to the weak damage output of Lag Force with only one assassin.
