Following reports of players not being paid by owner Brian Cordry, all the players on the Winterfox roster have been granted their release from the roster. The players negotiated with the team and with them unable to come up with a workable agreement that kept the players with Winterfox, they will now compete without an organization behind them for the remainder of the season. The players managed to get ESL to let the players keep their spot in the Pro League, though. The players will be competing under the name Animal Squad and are currently accepting offers from other organizations.
