Firebat and the United States let short of their goal as they lost 4-3 to the Czech Republic in the semifinals of the Hearthstone Global Games.

The former World Champion and veteran of the Hearthstone scene has emerged as one of two leaders for Team America, alongside Amnesiac. USA and Czech Republic lived up to all the hype of the heated rivalry as the two teams seemed to be evenly matched as a couple of the best countries in the world. Wins alternated between the two teams as Firebat went 1-1 in the two games he piloted. Czech ultimately ended up winning the series in Game 7, but it was an impressive showing for Firebat as he made his brief return into competitive Hearthstone. He will go back to creating content and casting, but can still hang with the best.
