Sender had played under the Enigma6 banner since January as the organization failed to get into either Stage 1 or Stage 2 of the CWL Pro League. Situated in arguably the most difficult group in the entirety of the 2018 Call of Duty World Championships, Enigma6 did win a series in their pool, but were unable to advance out of their 17th-24th seeding. Sender finished the tournament with a 0.86 KD across 11 maps, but he predictably struggled the most against FaZe Clan, finishing with a 0.63 KD over the four games.
