Sjow strung together great series after great series, but fell just short as he lost 4-2 to Orange in the SeatStory 6 grand finals, earning 2nd place finish and $4,000.
ANALYSIS
Sjow has always been a strong Hearthstone player, but lately has become more know as a streamer than a professional. In a tournament that had a long and winding road filled with the biggest names in Hearthstone, Sjow was able to shake his streamer tag and rightfully earn himself a spot in the finals. Facing Orange, Sjow played his decks well, but was just outmatched by the impeccable play by Orange, especially on his Rogue deck. Sjow was up 1-0, but dropped three straight as Orange showed why Rogue has seen a great boost in the meta as Sjow could not keep up. Sjow was able to stop the bleeding with a win on his Reno Warlock deck, but then fell right after to Orange's Jade Druid to end the series. Hopefully Sjow's emergence back into the competitive scene is for real as he seems to have a great handle on the new meta of Hearthstone.
