ANALYSIS
It would be a tough weekend in Singapore for the young Racing Bulls driver. After a couple crashes during practice he'd face long odds in the grand prix on Sunday. Lawson started P12 on the grid and would run a mammoth opening stint to lap 48. He would promote as high as P8 during the stint but would pit out of P13 as his tyres degraded. The strategy would not work as he would be buried deep in the field and could only manage to claw his way around a fading Franco Colapinto in the closing laps for 15th-place.
