Johnathan Abram News: Let go

Abram was released from the Saints' practice squad Tuesday.

The safety was elevated to the active roster for each of the last three games, playing on 66 percent, 63 percent and 18 percent of the defensive snaps, respectively. Abram saw heavy snap counts in place of Will Harris (hamstring) and then Tyrann Mathieu, who was nursing a forearm injury. Jordan Howden stepped up to replace Harris.
