Trey Benson Injury: Not playing this week

Benson (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

It was an outcome that seemed likely once Benson was held out of practice Thursday. The Cardinals listed him as a limited participant in four straight practices beforehand, but head coach Jonathan Gannon said Friday that Benson is still being evaluated day to day. The Cardinals figure to deploy some combination of Bam Knight (knee), Michael Carter and Emari Demercado (ankle) out of the backfield this Sunday.
