Borregales was the first of two kickers taken in the 2025 Draft, going in the sixth round at No. 182 overall to New England. He was a four-year starter at the University of Miami, where he converted 86.5 percent of field-goal attempts and 99.5 percent of PATs, missing just 13 kicks overall and only one in his final season. Borregales is the favorite to become the Patriots' new placekicker but will first need to win a summer job battle against veteran addition John Parker Romo. Read Past Outlooks

The rookie has now gone 15-for-17 on field-goal tries, including 2-for-2 from 50-plus yards, while making 31 of 33 extra-point attempts over 11 games this year.
