Reaches injury settlement with PIT
The Steelers waived Johnson (foot) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Johnson appeared in 13 games of the 2023 season, recording 19 receptions for 284 yards and four touchdowns. Despite filling a depth role for the Broncos in his second pro season, the UCF product's four trips to the end zone were the second-highest mark among all Denver pass catchers. With that said, Johnson faces an uphill battle for playing time this season, behind the likes of Courtland Sutton, Josh Reynolds, Marvin Mims, who are the favorites to see the majority of snaps. In his age-26 season, the wideout will look to reprise his role as a depth option for Denver in the final year of his rookie contract.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Opportunity awaits Week 17
Johnson, who has four touchdown receptions on 11 catches this season, could see an expanded role against the Chargers in Week 17 due to the Broncos' multiple receiver injuries.
ANALYSIS
The UCF product is thought to have plenty of potential, but he's been mired in a deep reserve role for most of his first two seasons. However, with Courtland Sutton already ruled out with a concussion and Jerry Jeudy and Marvin Mims carrying questionable tags due to an illness and a hamstring issue, respectively, Johnson could conceivably shoot all the way up to the top of the depth chart versus Los Angeles if his two teammates are ultimately ruled inactive.
