Past Fantasy Outlooks
2021
2020
A 2020 third-round pick, Dantzler impressed in his rookie season, as he was Pro Football Focus' 28th-ranked cornerback, racking up 46 tackles, two interceptions, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He started 10 of his 11 appearances, but he also missed time due to rib and hamstring injuries as well as a concussion. Assuming he fends off Mackensie Alexander, Dantzler will be part of the No. 1 defense opposite Patrick Peterson in 2021.
Dantzler was selected by the Vikings with the 89th overall pick in April's draft, and he couldn't have landed in a much better spot to have an immediate impact. Xavier Rhodes, Trae Waynes and Mackensie Alexander led Minnesota's cornerbacks in snaps last season, and all three are now with other teams. Mike Hughes and rookie first-round pick Jeff Gladney are expected to start in 2020, while Dantzler should have every opportunity to secure the role of No. 3 corner in training camp.
