Fleming and the Broncos agreed Tuesday to a one-year deal worth up to $4 million, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Fleming made 15 starts for Denver in 2022, moving between both left and right tackle. With Denver bringing aboard Mike McGlinchey in free agency to man the right side and with Garett Bolles (leg) still on the mend but expected to be healthy in time for the start of the 2023 season to protect quarterback Russell Wilson's blind side, Fleming is projected to serve as a swing tackle.

Added in the offseason, Fleming will battle with fellow Denver acquisition Bobby Massie as the top two candidates for the team's starting right tackle spot. The eight-year veteran will also contend with Calvin Anderson and Quinn Bailey heading into the preseason. If Fleming makes the starting roster, he will help join an offensive line unit that should be improved from the 2020 season.
The reserve tackle managed to also carve out a role an occasional blocking tight end last season, and with his ability to man the guard position as well, versatility is his ticket to a roster spot with the Patriots.
Provides the Patriots with offensive line depth.
