Staying in Tampa Bay
Senat re-signed with the Buccaneers on a one-year deal Tuesday, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Senat will stay in Tampa after logging 17 tackles (10 solo) and a sack in 12 games for them last season. The 2018 third-round pick is currently the only nose tackle on the roster other than Vita Vea, and Senat will look to provide solid depth behind the star defender next season.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Senat will be playing motivated football with the support of his teammates this season, as he has overcome unthinkable tragedy and misfortune to make it to an NFL training camp, losing both parents within the last couple of years. The 24-year-old admitted to the Tampa Bay Times in December that he "wasn't (always) around the guys who lived life right" during his childhood and early adolescence, but with encouragement from his pastor as well as a local Immokalee, Florida legend by the name of Izzy Gallegos, Senat began playing organized football for the first time in high school. Senat developed into a four-star recruit and went on to earn an offer to play for South Florida, where he became one of the better run defenders in the nation (10.5 tackles for loss as a senior). Now a member of the Falcons and playing alongside a trio of young, ultra-talented defensive linemen in Grady Jarrett, Vic Beasley and Takkarist McKinley, Senat is in an ideal spot to learn and prosper in the NFL, perhaps even capable of becoming a starter at defensive tackle by season's end.
