Jenkins missed a pair of games last season, but he otherwise stayed healthy one year after tearing his ACL. The Packers signed him to a lucrative extension in December, and he is slated to open the season as the team's starting left guard.
Jenkins made the Pro Bowl in his 2020 sophomore season, and he was on his way to being named to the team again before tearing his ACL in late November. Jenkins is reportedly ahead of schedule in his recovery, but given the timing of his injury, it does not seem likely he will be ready for Week 1.
Jenkins has moved around the offensive line a lot, but he has shined wherever he lines up and is set to be a perennial Pro Bowler for years to come. It's not yet clear where he will open in 2021, but if David Bakhtiari (knee) is not ready for Week 1, it looks like Jenkins will fill in at left tackle.

Jenkins is sitting out voluntary offseason workouts while seeking an adjustment to his contract, Jason Wilde of Channel 3000 reports.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins is shifting from guard to center this season, a move that he is reportedly okay with. However, he may be using the shift to rework his current deal, which runs through the 2026 season. It's unclear whether Jenkins is simply asking for a raise, or if he wants an extension from the Packers.
